Sarah started practicing yoga when she moved to Atlanta in 2014 to complement her kickboxing and weightlifting workouts. She jumped around to several yoga studios but could never quite find a style that suited her. After COVID-19 completely derailed her workout routine, she tried a class at Highland Yoga and immediately knew she had found her yoga practice. She was surprised at not only the physical benefits but the mental benefits as well.
In 2022, she decided to pursue her 200-hour teacher training with Highland Yoga to deepen her practice and share yoga’s benefits with others. Through creative sequencing, Sarah guides her students through moving meditations, creating a safe space for them to connect with their breath and feel empowered.
Outside of the studio, you can find her pipetting in the lab, hiking, or hanging out with her husband and two dogs.
