Megan grew up as a competitive swimmer and runner and began practicing yoga as a way to complement her other fitness training, but quickly fell in love with the physical practice.
When Megan moved to Atlanta and took her first class with Highland Yoga in fall of 2020, she fell in love with Highland’s flow, energy, and sense of community. Highland showed her that yoga is much deeper than a purely physical practice and introduced a sense of deeper meaning and appreciation.
Megan completed her 200hr training in the fall of 2021 at Highland Yoga as a way to dive deeper into her practice and its origin, as well as with a goal of sharing her love for yoga with others. Her classes are upbeat and are aimed at creating a fun and safe environment for students of all levels to breathe and flow in a way that feels good without fear of judgement.
