ABOUT ME
Lee began a consistent yoga practice in 2016 to supplement her training as a distance runner. Over time, she learned that there was much more to yoga than stretching muscles, a realization she first had while taking a mini intensive course on the chakras. With so much to learn -- about how to align her hips in Warrior 1 and how to use breath to calm her “puppy mind” -- Lee incorporated a regular practice into her routine.
She first joined Highland Yoga in 2019 while looking for a yoga practice that offered more intensity and a creative approach to asana. An avid travel yogi, she found herself drawn to hot vinyasa studios throughout the US, so why not in Atlanta? She thinks there’s nothing more centering than a steady flow, the “moving meditation” that reminds you how to be present in the moment and in your body.
Lee completed her 200-hour training through Highland Yoga after spending the pandemic deepening her commitment to a personal yoga practice. She loves the creativity and community that teaching offers, and she hopes her classes provide fun, challenging ways for students to connect with their bodies and breaths.
